Border Guard Civilian Recruitment Exam Application Procedure
Application Procedure: From the current recruitment circular on BGB e-recruitment website https://joinborderguard.bgb.gov.bd, the application should be completed in the following 06 steps:
Step-1: Aptitude Test
- Click on “Apply” button from the recruitment notification.
- Read the application process steps carefully before applying.
- Click the “Continue” button.
- Answer all the Aptitude Test questions correctly.
Step-2: Registration
- Enter personal mobile number if you are eligible and email address if available then click on “Proceed” button.
- Enter the four digit OTP code sent to your mobile and click on the “Verify” button.
- Once your mobile number is verified, the system generated user ID and password for registration will appear on your screen.
- User ID and password will also be sent via SMS to the mobile number used for your registration.
Step-3: Deposit of application fee
- Then click on “Go to login page” button below.
- Click on “Login” button with your User ID and Password.
- If you want to pay the admission process fee then click on “Pay Fee” button.
- Make payments digitally by providing accurate details of your banking card or mobile banking
- Payment of application fee from minimum 100/- to maximum 200/- as per pay grade.
Step-4: Verification of Educational Qualification
- Enter your educational qualification information and click on “Verify” button.
- If the information provided by you is not correct, recheck all educational qualification information and provide correct information.
Step-5: Provide personal information and upload photo
- If the education information is correct, your name and required information will be filled automatically.
- Provide personal information in the form’s input fields.
- Upload recent passport size photograph.
- Click on “All the information I provided is correct” check box and click on “Go to next step” button.
- If there is any mistake in the information, click on “Change Information” button and edit it again.
- Verify information, information once submitted cannot be changed.
- If all information is correct click on the “Do you want to submit your information” check box and click on “Submit” button.
- Download Border Guard Civilian Recruitment Exam Admit Card:
- Border Guard Bangladesh BGB Civilian Recruitment Admit Card download will be informed to eligible candidates through SMS in due course. However, those who are considered ineligible will not receive any SMS regarding admit card download.
Receipt of Border Guard Bangladesh Civilian Recruitment Exam Admit Card will be notified in due course on website www.bgb.gov.bd and through SMS on candidate’s mobile phone (only eligible candidates).
All communication related to the examination will be done on the mobile phone provided in the candidate’s online application form, so it is advised to keep the number active at all times, read the SMS and follow the instructions received immediately.
Conditions for Participation in BGB Recruitment Test
According to the Border Guard Bangladesh BGB Recruitment Circular 2024, the recruitment test will be held in three stages. The three stages are:
- Primary medical examination.
- Written Examination
- and final medical examination.
Medical and Written Examination of Candidates: Selected candidates will undergo preliminary medical, written, practical, oral and final medical examination. Then only selected candidates will be admitted to HBs Ag as per allotted quota as per merit list from among eligible candidates. Dope test, fasting sugar, HbA1c anti HCV and serum creatinine will be sent to the border guard hospital for blood tests.
It should be noted that candidates with negative results in HBsAg and Anti HCV blood test, not detected in dope test and normal results in fasting sugar, HbA1C and serum creatinine blood test will be considered as final candidates.
Below is the list of documents to be taken during the initial medical examination
- Original certificate of pass in SSC and HSC examination.
- Attested photocopy of experience certificate in relevant post along with original copy.
- Certificate from School/College. The testimonial must mention the candidate’s address and date of birth.
- Parental permission letter. The letter must be attested by the Chairman.
- Citizenship certificate.
- 11 copies of passport size photograph. 01 Photocopy to be attested by Chairman.
- Muktijodha Sanad of candidates applying for Muktijodha Quota.
- Unmarried Certificate issued by Municipal Chairman.
- Character certificate.
- Attested photocopy of certificate issued by local chairman in respect of married/unmarried.
- Father’s ID card or birth certificate.
- Copy of BGB applicant
- [Photocopies of all certificates, photographs and other documents (if any) to be attested by a Gazetted Officer First Class. The certificate shall bear the name, designation, seal and signature of the certifying officer]
BGB Recruitment Exam Time Table
Written and oral test will be conducted for all the posts. Exam venue, date and schedule will be intimated to candidates through SMS on their mobile phones in due course. It will also be published on Border Guard Bangladesh website www.bgb.gov.bd.
